Paul Morrow

Paul Morrow began his career as an Astronaut Cadet in the European Space Exploration Program. His self-confidence and ability to command made him a capable leader on many lunar exploratory missions. He jumped at the chance to partake in the construction of Moonbase Alpha, stimulated by the danger and excitement inherent in the job. The position of Main Mission Controller was his toughest assignment. Quickly proving his worth, Morrow became the Commander's right-hand man. It is his respon- sibility to oversee the smooth operation of the base. Commander Koenig has at many times felt that Morrow is a younger reflection of himself.

Chief Eagle Piolt Alan Carter

Space:1999 was a British science fiction television series that aired from 1975 to 1977. It followed the adventures of the crew of Moonbase Alpha, a lunar colony that was hurled into deep space by a nuclear explosion. One of the main characters was Alan Carter, the chief pilot of the Eagle transporters, the spacecraft used by the Moonbase Alpha personnel. Carter was played by Australian actor Nick Tate, who brought a sense of humor and courage to the role. Carter often risked his life to rescue his fellow crew members. He also had a friendly rivalry with Commander John Koenig, the leader of the Moonbase Alpha. Carter was one of the most popular characters among fans of Space:1999, and Tate reprised his role in several fan-made productions and audio dramas.
